Mike
Hoi Mike. Your Dutch isn't that terrible. In fact there are only two mistakes in "Hoi, Ik ben Mike, van Zweden": Ik shouldn't be with a capital, since it comes after a comma and the second comma is redundant. Good luck here on WiktionaryNL. ;-) [[Gebruiker:David|David ]] 15 nov 2004 15:25 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome. I'll fix those issues - it was basically the first time I ever tried to write anything in Dutch, so if you think it's 'not that terrible', I'm happy :) However, I'll spend more time where I feel a little more confident about the language ;) Mike 15 nov 2004 15:32 (UTC)
sw =>swe
bewerkenTnx
- Hi, you don't change sw into swe, do you? sw is Swahili, sv is the ISO 639-1 code for Swedish (amd swe is the ISO 639-3 code)... :) But no, I'll use the three letter code from here on. (well, I'm not very active here anyway) \Mike 3 mrt 2008 22:10 (CET)
Nope:
Huh? Where did the swa come from? I just wondered why someone would equate sw (which is the ISO 639-1 code for Swahili) with swe (the ISO 639-3 code for Swedish). I don't understand what you're after... \Mike 20 mei 2008 19:26 (CEST)
It came from here but there is a bit of a problem. Swahili proper really should be swh, as swa is the macrolanguage that bundles a couple of closely related tongues.. Anyway I dont think we turned any Nordic into any Bantu but I'll check. Jcwf 20 mei 2008 19:37 (CEST)
- Looks great Mike, thanks again!
Your questions
bewerkenHi Mike,
I've deleted the page "Tjeckiska" with the reason: 'Foute vertaling', which means 'Wrong translation'. Thanks for letting me know. If you would like to have a page deleted, add the template {{nuweg|===reason===}} at the top of the page. Replace ===reason=== with the reason for deletion. For example: if a word is translated wrong, then add {{nuweg|wrong translation}} at the top of the page. Then a moderator (like me) will delete the page as soon as possible.
About your question at Overleg:zweefvliegtuig, see that page, I've answered you there.
P.S.: please change Hoi, ik ben Mike van Zweden. at your user page to Hoi, ik ben Mike uit Zweden.. The verb to come from is being translated as komen uit in Dutch. But don't blame yourself for not knowing that, that's pretty advanced Dutch (I would also make this kind of mistakes in Swedish !).
If you have any other questions, please don't hestitate to contact me at my talk page !
Kind regards, Tvdm 23 mei 2008 18:35 (CEST)
